Raise a glass of NOT R*M this National Rum Day

This National Rum Day, opt for the version with less alcohol, less calories, and less headaches in the morning.

Happy National Rum Day, everyone! We’re a year on from the last one, which means (checks calculator) we’ve had about 18 months of on-off lockdowns. At this point the whole world could probably do with a holiday – the sea lapping at your toes, Pina Coladas flowing, evenings spent marvelling at a beautiful sunset/gang of maniacs zipping along the shoreline on an inflatable banana (delete as appropriate) – but with foreign travel set to duck, dive and generally elude us, our suggestion for 2021 is this:

Defiantly flick the underside of your chin at convention, and if you can’t make it abroad this summer, simply bring the holiday to your own doorstep.

Amble around your neighbourhood in your swimming trunks, take a big book to the local pool, sleep for an hour in the afternoon, and whenever you fancy it, whatever the weather, make some kick-ass non-alcoholic Pina Coladas using STRYKK NOT R*M as your muse. Or match it with a cola, or use it in a non-alcoholic Zombie. Or dazzle your friends, neighbours, colleagues and cohorts with a non-alcoholic Mojito that tastes exactly like a long sweaty night in Havana.

Because here’s the thing – our non-alcoholic rum is as authentic as it gets. It was perfected in 2018 after months of meticulous testing from some of the best and most demanding bartending boffins on the planet, making it as close to the real thing as possible. Notes of vanilla, raisin, and oakwood for sophisticated palates, notes of REALLY GOOD RUM for the rest of us. At a time when we need good times, great vibes, and a long stretch of sandy beach to stride along (holding in our stomachs), it’s all about the little things, the evocative tastes and flavours that send a warm beam of sunshine to your soul.

So, this National Rum Day, opt for the version with less alcohol, less calories, and less headaches in the morning, and raise a glass of STRYKK NOT R*M to a future that’s looking so bright, you will definitely need to wear shades.
